In this episode of the MYD Show we sit down with the Founder of Kiyomisandz Beauty Products, Sandra Mwiihangele. Sandra was this year recognised as the ultimate amongst entrepreneurs on the African continent when she was selected by Forbes Africa magazine as the top 30 under 30.
“They have a Forbes 30 Under 30 on every continent and they have been running the Forbes Africa for the past three or four years, and there has been no Namibian, so I am very happy to open up the doors to the rest of the young Namibian entrepreneurs in future because a lot of the times our nation is overlooked because we are such a small population.”
She is the first Namibian to make the list, yet to become the powerhouse she is in business today, she had to overcome her shyness and a speech impediment. This is her inspirational story.
“When they [Forbes] were doing the whole investigation about my business they also investigate who you are as a person. What makes a business successful is the people behind the business.”
In this MYD show podcast we find out:
- Sandra’s journey to becoming a manufacturer of beauty products that started when in school
